Gentlemen,

In reply to your letter G/Hong Kong 8262 dated

the 26th August, 1938, and in confirmation of telephone

conversation of the 7th September, 1938, I have to inform you

that an Instructor's Unit consists of tools, detaching and

eyepiece, diagrams instructional, and ointment.

With regard to protective clothing this will be

supplied to suit the type of personnel to be trained in

accordance with A.R.P. Memorandum No,5, 2nd Edition

(Appendix D, part I). If you will, therefore, advise this

Department of the number and composition of classes to be

held, i.e., whether for instructing members of the Police

Force, Fire Brigade, Decontamination personnel, First Aid

Parties or Posts, Public Utility Undertakings, etc.,

arrangements can be made to supply, on repayment,

appropriate equipment.
